Sherry R. Wetsch, a graduate of Moorhead State
University with a B.S.W. in Social Work in 1981 and the
University of North Dakota School of Law in 1984, has
practiced law in Missouri and Texas.  Her practice centers
on Alternative Dispute Resolution.  She is licensed to
practice law in Texas, North Dakota and Missouri.

Ms.  Wetsch has served as a third party neutral on a wide
variety of cases including consumer, employment, labor,
family, personal injury,  home remodeling, contract and
debtor/creditor.   She has served as an arbitrator and
mediator for the Texas Department of Transportation and
FINRA.   She is admitted to the AAA roster of labor
arbitrators
, and has been appointed to the National Railroad
Adjustment Board.
 She has sat as a Hearing Examiner on
employment/contract disputes through the Texas Education
Agency (TEA). She also serves as a mediator through TEA
on special education related matters.  She has served as a
mediator and settlement conference judge on felony
criminal court dockets for multiple State Judicial Districts.  
She conducts mediations for the  United States Postal
Service REDRESS program.    She has also served  as a
temporary Administrative Law Judge for the State Office of
Administrative Hearings on a wide range of cases,
including disputes over long term care facilities, licence
revocations, and cases involving the Texas Department
of Protection and Regulatory Services and  the Texas
Alcoholic Beverage Commission.  She serves as an
arbitrator for the Federal Mediation and Conciliation
Service on collective bargaining agreement disputes. She
also serves as an arbitrator and referee through the
National Mediation Board.           
                                                             
Ms. Wetsch received basic, advanced and family law
mediation through Attorney-Mediators Institute.  She has
been trained in the “Mediation of EEOC Charges” and
has received advanced mediation training for the
“Transformative Practice/Framework”.  She has received
arbitration training through NASD, SOAH, NYSE and the
Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service.  Chairperson
training was received through NASD.  She has completed
training for Special Masters. Ms. Wetsch has taught MCLE
approved mediation & arbitration continuing education
courses. She has published on dispute resolution related
subjects.
              
Ms. Wetsch  achieved  the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in
the United States Army Reserve Judge Advocate General
Corp. While an attorney for the agency, she conducted
mediations on employment and labor issues.  She gained
trial experience as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. Ms.
Wetsch has served on the board of directors of the Katy
Bar  Association and of the Academy of Court Appointed
Masters, and on the Women & Law Section Council for the
State Bar of Texas.
